Hopper Squirrel was created in 2008, as a way of helping Maurice’s then eight-year-old son deal with life’s issues, even when Maurice himself could not be around.  Just like most youngsters, Hopper is an inquisitive kid with lots of ideas and plenty of spunk.

Hopper looks at the world and tries to find the good in it, by seeing it (world) as if it were a glass that is half- full instead of seeking out how empty it might seem to others. He will always try to use his brain to get himself out of whatever jam he finds himself in.

Hopper loves school, sports and he loves to have fun with his friends; all while Learning valuable Life Lessons that will truly help to make and shape his future for the better.
